I know this may get a little personal, guys, but I have also had the problem of great pants (Izods and others) wearing out in the seat. I puzzled for a long time: bad pants, rough office chairs, ??? Finally figured out that my ballistic nylon briefcase, slung over my shoulder, was rubbing precisely on the corner of the back pocket where my wallet stretched the fabric. Pretty esoteric, but if it saves someone from discrding a pair of otherwise slacks, this note is probably worth the electrons....
