As a result they do not have to be removed when going through security at the airport - ensuring a quick Hassle Free Travel experience! The unique EASY OPEN CLIPS are created with a lever that pulls down from the top to loosen the grip (much easier to use than standard metal clips that you have to pry open from the bottom). We find that people with arthritis appreciate the ease with which they are able to use these Easy Open Clips. The design of these clips give them a MUCH STRONGER GRIP than that of average metal suspender clips. I originally ordered these suspenders not because they are TSA compliant, but because they are solid black.(most black suspenders still have silver hardware on them) I received them promptly and they were just as described. They seem to be of high quality elastic, better then suspenders I have purchased from discount stores. The color is deep black on the elastic as well as all the buckles clips, slides et.. The clips will not damage or tear the fabric on your pants and they do hold very well. I have not tried to go through the airport with them on but I don't see why they would set off a metal detector.
The most negative thing I find is that the clips are just a little on the large side but that is just a minor observation.

I purchased these suspenders because it is more comfortable and practical for me to wear suspenders when I travel so my pants don't fall off. I don't want to end up on youtube or AFV. However, regular suspenders with their metal buckles set off airport metal detectors, forcing me to undergo a pat down search. These suspenders worked as hoped for getting me through security without setting off the metal detectors. My only complaint, and it is one I've seen others make, is that the fasteners can lose their grip or come unlatched. Overall, I am glad I made this purchase, and I would buy another pair when the need arises. -- Did what I wanted, but fasteners could be stronger.

Great product I have tried these suspenders at work they grip well and now for the acid test on 11/07/09 I take a flight to Chicago...lol...if they work will be the first time I didn't make the thing atht e airport ring...lol -- gREAT PRODUCT

If you are anything like me with a big belly and have trouble keeping your pants up and work for a prison and have to go through metal detectors every day, then these suspenders are for you.
They work as well as any I've paid much more.

The only gripe I have is that it took way to looooooooooooooong to get them.
I did not know that Amazon didn't have the product and just ordered them from another company....who I knew about and could have ordered directly for the same price!
However....the Belt company addressed the package with my address first and then my name on the 2nd line and they shipped them back, although on Amazon tracking it showed delivered....go figure. It took about three weeks total from the time I placed order. Will know better next time. -- Keeping Your Pants Up In A Crowd!
